Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated self employed Companions to provide friendly, personalised support to individuals at their home. We currently have a need for companions in Haslemere and Shalford. As a self employed, you will foster meaningful connections, promote independence, and enhance the overall well-being of those you serve. Your role will involve engaging in activities that encourage social interaction, assisting with daily routines, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on lives while working in a supportive and dynamic environment. Please note there is no personal care or medication.
Responsibilities
- Build trusting relationships by offering companionship, conversation, and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with daily activities such as light housekeeping, meal preparation.
- Support clients in participating in hobbies, outings, or social activities to promote engagement and happiness.
- Drive clients safely to appointments, outings, or social events using own vehicle with business insurance. Mileage at 0.45p per mile.
Skills
- Valid UK driving license with business insurance.
- A self- employed enhanced DBS check.
- Public liability insurance.
- Strong communication skills in English for engaging with clients.
This role is ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy making a difference through genuine companionship and support.
Pay: £20.00 per hour
