Agricultural Spray Operative for the disinfection process of Poultry farms at various locations which can be between 30 minutes and 3 hours away, however the base is in Market Rasen, Lincs. The majority of the site locations is under 2 hours away.
This is a full time role and includes some weekends, Saturdays and Sundays. You must hold a 7.5 tonne licence and have knowledge and the ability to complete tachographs and knowledge of driving hours/law.
The role involves using a compact tractor and sprayer for the application of the clients products. Full PPE is provided and must be worn to carry out this task including a full face mask. The ability to understand disinfection programmes and dilution rates for the products is essential. See the company Facebook page for videos o this role.
Other duties may include application of bedding and feed and pressure washing if required.
We are based in Market Rasen, Lincolnshire so ideally the candidate will live in a short distance from our base, start times vary but usually early morning starts. This role involves occasional nights out so the successful candidate must have the flexibility to be away from home when required. This will be usually 5-6 days a week but may vary due to the business requirements.
You must be flexible as to days you work as this can be changeable and have the ability a to work on your own independently and carry out the required duties to the correct standard. You should have excellent communication skills and practical skills also. Previous experience of using tractors and machinery an advantage. Interview process will involve a practical assessment.
