Solar PV Qualified Supervisor (QS)

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000

We’re recruiting for an experienced Solar PV Qualified Supervisor (QS) to join a growing renewable energy business delivering Solar PV and battery storage installations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician with strong Solar PV knowledge who is looking to take responsibility for electrical compliance, quality and technical standards across installations.
The Role
As the Solar QS, you’ll oversee the quality and compliance of electrical works carried out by installation teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and supporting Solar PV electricians and installation teams
- Reviewing electrical installation work and certification
- Ensuring installations comply with current electrical regulations and company standards
- Carrying out site audits and quality inspections
- Providing technical support to engineers
- Identifying and resolving installation or compliance issues
- Supporting testing, inspection and commissioning
- Maintaining high standards across Solar PV and battery storage installations
- Working closely with project and operations teams
What We’re Looking For
- Experienced and qualified electrician
- Strong Solar PV installation experience
- Previous QS or supervisory experience preferred
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Inspection & Testing qualification – 2391 or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of BS 7671
- Experience with battery storage advantageous
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent attention to detail and technical knowledge
