We're a busy, well established salon in Highcliffe looking for two nail technicians / beauty therapists to join the team. Two of our team are moving on this year, both for happy reasons, and we'd like to fill their places with people who take real pride in their work.
We're a calm, luxury salon. No hairdressing, no noise, just a relaxed space where clients come to switch off and leave feeling looked after. If that's the kind of place you'd like to work, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'd be doing
- BIAB, gel polish, nail extensions and nail art
- Lash treatments
- Consulting with clients, tailoring each treatment and recommending the right aftercare and products
- Keeping your station spotless and your skills current with what's new
- Helping clients get the most from their visit, including the retail and treatments that suit them
What we're looking for
- Confident and skilled in BIAB. If you're strong on BIAB, gel and extensions will already be second nature to you
- Experienced in lash treatments
- A recognised beauty therapy or nail qualification
- Salon experience delivering treatments to clients
Brow treatments and wider beauty skills (facials, massage, manicures and pedicures) are a bonus, not a must. If you're a talented nail tech who's a little rusty elsewhere, we'll help you build the rest.
Hours and days off
- Full-time, guaranteed at least 31 hours a week (part-time from 16 hours a week is also possible for the right person)
- The salon is closed Sundays and Mondays, so you get two full days off together every week
- Full-time team members also get one Saturday off every month
Pay and benefits
- £13 to £14 an hour depending on experience, reviewed as you grow with us
- 10% commission on any retail products you sell, plus 10% on our higher-priced treatments
