Mitie has a great opportunity for security officers to join the Total Security Management Team. The security officers will be working at New York Street Manchester.
Pay Rate: £13.34 per hour.
Contract Type: permanent contract 42 hours per week.
Shifts: 5 on 2 off : Wednesday Thursady and Friday 6 hours per night from 1800 until midnight, Saturday and Sunday Night 12 hours per night from 1900 until 07:00.
Main Duties

The security officer will be based at reception conducting the internal patrols and monitoring the CCTV.

To be aware of using the mobile app and be able to understand the requirements of the duties.

Any issues must be recorded on the online portal, written and must be reported to the client and Account Manager.

Time keeping is important and attending the site on time for handover.

Must be able to use online portals to record the daily activities.

The security officer must be vigilant and report and record all suspicious or potential criminal activity and retain full control until the arrival of emergency services.

The security officer will demonstrate their character as determined, trustworthy, attentive and approachable at all times when welcoming clients and customers.

As the first point of contact for all customers and clients, the Security officer must have geographical awareness of their local surroundings.

Report to the Security Manager - they must record, report and escalate all Incidents.
Qualifications
Person Specification

SIA License essential.

5 years of work history Vetting is essential before starting the position.

As a job requirement officer must be available to work nights and weekends.
