New Formation Education is recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEN school in Morden, supporting pupils aged 11-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism and associated learning needs.

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Help students re-engage with learning and develop confidence.
- Use positive behaviour management strategies to encourage emotional regulation.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
- Support communication, independence and social development.
- Work alongside teachers, therapists and pastoral staff to provide consistent support.
- Help create a calm, structured and nurturing learning environment.

Essential Requirements
- Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A calm, resilient and proactive approach.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
