Duties
- Conduct fabrication, welding, soldering, and assembly of mechanical components using hand tools and power tools.
- Interpret schematics and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot electrical systems within farm equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and equipment upgrades on machinery such as excavators, forklifts, and other heavy-duty tools.
- Repair and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, sensors, and control panels for agricultural devices.
- Provide technical support to farm operators by offering guidance on equipment operation, safety procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Conduct inspections of machinery to identify wear or damage and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Support customer service efforts by addressing client inquiries related to equipment performance or maintenance needs.
Pay: From £20.00 per hour
