Quantum Decorating Services is expanding and we’re looking for a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team.
Working across Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and London, we deliver high-quality finishes across both domestic and commercial projects, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in getting the job done right.
What we need from you:
- Proven experience in painting & decorating
- Spray painting experience (essential)
- Valid CSCS card
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Reliable, professional and detail-focused
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
The opportunity:
You’ll be working on a variety of projects, representing our brand on-site, and helping us maintain the high standards our clients expect.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling imperfections to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paints, varnishes, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and in accordance with safety regulations
- Protect surrounding areas by covering floors, furniture, and fixtures during painting activities
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver satisfactory results
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any repairs needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on site
Experience
- Previous experience in construction painting or decorating is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of different types of paints, finishes, and application techniques
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively liaise with clients and team members
- Valid driving licence is advantageous to facilitate travel between multiple sites
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
