We are and independent business located in the Eden Shopping Centre in High Wycombe, we are opening our new restaurant and bar and are seeking a talented and passionate Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working in a kitchen , with experience in meal preparation and food safety practices.
As a cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious dishes that delight our guests while maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene in the kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to our menu specifications.
- Daily , weekly and monthly cleans and will need a clear eye for detail with passion for what you are doing.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety practices.
- Handle any special dietary requests or allergies with care and attention to detail.
Experience.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Working in a kitchen or café
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation.
- A passion for cooking and creativity in meal preparation is essential.
- Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
