We are looking for an experienced and organized Care Coordinator to join our friendly and growing home care team.
This is an important role within our office team, ensuring our clients receive reliable, high-quality care and that our Caregivers are effectively supported and coordinated.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and managing Caregiver rotas
- Ensuring all client care visits are fully covered
- Matching Caregivers to clients based on their needs, skills and availability
- Managing sickness, absence, late calls and missed calls
- Keeping client and Caregiver information accurate and up to date
- Communicating changes to Caregivers, clients and the management team
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the care service
- Responding quickly and professionally to unexpected changes or emergencies
- Participating in the out-of-hours on-call rota
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working as a Care Coordinator or in a similar care role
- Experience using Birdie care management software
- Experience organising and managing staff rotas
- Good knowledge and understanding of the home care sector
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Confident working under pressure and solving problems
- Reliable, professional and able to work independently
- A positive, can-do attitude
- QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable
Pay & Benefits
£27,000 per year
In addition to your basic salary, you will receive additional payments for on-call duties and any extra care calls you complete.
