Jumping Jacks Childcare is looking for an experienced nursery practitioner to join our team.

Jumping Jacks is a small, caring and thriving nursery in Bedford (MK40 2BB) looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and motivational supervisor level practitioner. PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The practitioner works closely with the Manager, Deputy Manager and Baby Room leader whilst also being expected to work autonomously in relation to day-to-day management responsibilities.
Responsibilities and Duties
· To provide support to Baby Room leader and to provide leadership as deputy in the Baby room leader's absence.
· Provide leadership to continuously improve the quality of provision in the setting
· Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and ensuring delivery standards which ensure the highest possible inspection grading.
· Lead and maintain a continuous improvement culture within the setting
· Ensure training, support, coaching and supervision of staff to inspire, motivate and challenge all children.
· Act as ambassador for the nursery, building and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing parents.
· Assist and lead initiatives to increase revenue for the business
· Marketing the nursery to reach maximum occupancy whilst maintaining excellent care.
Qualifications
· A full and relevant level 3 childcare qualification (essential).
- Minimum of 5 years working in the sector (essential)..
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£15.50 per hour
