Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our friendly & hardworking team. This dual role involves delivering goods to our customers and supporting day-to-day warehouse operations. It’s perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and thrives on delivering excellent service. This position requires an understanding of warehouse operations, careful driving, and the ability to handle heavy lifting.

Responsibilities
- Operate a 7.5 tonne lorry for the delivery of goods to various locations across the region.
- Ensure compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper handling techniques are used.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including shipping and receiving documentation.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to manage stock levels and assist with picking and packing orders as needed.
- Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage deliveries effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any queries or concerns from clients.

Skills
- Category C, Class 2 or C1 driving licence - Valid Driver CPC (DQC Card) - Maximum 3 points
- Recent professional driving experience
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and materials handling.
- Ability to build rapport with team members and clients alike.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for efficient stock management.
- Experience in picking, packing, and shipping/receiving processes.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Must have valid CPC and up to date driving hours.
