Account Manager
Job Description
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Reports To: Group Director
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Account Manager to join our growing print and packaging business. The successful candidate will manage key customer accounts, handle enquiries, prepare quotations, book jobs into production, order components, monitor job progress and ensure customers receive excellent service throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and develop relationships with key customer accounts.
· Receive and respond to incoming emails and telephone enquiries.
· Prepare and issue quotations for customer enquiries and follow up outstanding quotations.
· Book jobs into the management system and create production paperwork.
· Raise invoices and ensure administration is completed accurately.
· Order and manage components and materials required for customer jobs.
· Chase jobs through production and communicate progress to customers.
· Keep customers informed of any changes to schedules, lead times or delivery dates.
· Liaise with production, purchasing and dispatch teams to ensure jobs are delivered on time.
Essential Skills & Experience
· 1–2 years print industry experience preferred, either in a production or office-based role.
· Strong organisational and time management skills.
· Ability to multitask and prioritise a busy workload.
· Excellent customer service and communication skills.
· Professional telephone manner and email communication.
· Good attention to detail and accuracy.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Highly organised, proactive, customer-focused and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment whilst managing multiple priorities.

Pay: £25,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
Education:
- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Account management: 2 years (preferred)
- Printing or Print finishing : 2 years (preferred)
