Experience in acting, dance or singing? Love working with young people? How would you like to join an innovative theatre training company as our Company Assistant?
Theatretrain has been around for 30 years in locations all across the UK. We are so much more than a performing arts school – we are a team-based professional theatre training company for young people. With us, you’ll be able to pass your expertise on to our students.
Our aim is to give high-quality theatre training to children and young people, so that they can carry their newfound confidence, teamwork and imagination forth with them well into adulthood. We also create large-scale shows for our students to remember at iconic venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, the London Palladium and Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
As our Company Assistant, you will help deliver our Saturday Main Company group sessions from 10am to 1pm at West Exe School, with the occasional extra rehearsal leading up to our big performances.
You will be working alongside our team of regular teachers but will also have the opportunity to develop your own style by taking charge of some classes from time to time. This is a perfect opportunity for someone to gain experience of working with children in the performing arts in a fun and supportive environment.
