Duties
- Safely operate a forklift truck ,van or commercial vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations during night hours
- Assist with loading and unloading items, including heavy lifting, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips to maintain safety standards
- Navigate efficiently using GPS or maps, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and company policies
- Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation for each trip
- Support warehouse operations by organizing stock, preparing parcels for dispatch, and managing inventory movements
- Communicate clearly with team members and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or van driver, with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations
- Valid clean driving license suitable for operating a van or in accordance with local laws
- Being over 30years old (Insurance Requirement)
- Previous warehouse experience in Fruit and Vegetables highly desirable, including knowledge of stock handling and heavy lifting techniques
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently as part of daily duties
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with team members and customers
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently during NIGHT SHIFTS
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with GPS devices or mapping tools
