Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team! Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential, commercial, or healthcare facilities, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle specialized cleaning tasks such as disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas to ensure health standards are met
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Follow established safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests or concerns from residents or staff
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable
- Prior experience working in hospital environments or healthcare facilities is a strong plus
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough cleanliness
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
