As part of a newly created Operations and Logistics team, we have an opportunity for an Onboarding and Training Manager.
As our Onboarding and Training Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring users are successfully onboarded onto the platform and equipped with the skills they need to get the most from it.
Working across Sopra Steria Ltd and with Industry Partners, you’ll lead onboarding activity, shape training approaches, and champion continuous improvement in user experience.
You will be supporting a market-leading, secure collaboration platform designed for international defence and government programmes.
This platform enables trusted cross-border information sharing.
As we continue to scale, you will play an important part in supporting high-profile programmes and a growing user base.
Our team is based in Farnborough, with occasional travel to other sites as required.
To support effective collaboration, our preference is two days a week onsite, and we are happy to consider flexible arrangements such as a compressed working week.
What you'll be doing:

Ensure the timely and efficient onboarding of approved users onto the platform across the UK and overseas.

Lead and deliver onboarding and training activities, managing scope, schedule, risks and quality to achieve defined outcomes.

Manage and develop a team of onboarding and training specialists, supporting Industry Partner teams through coaching and train the trainer sessions.

Develop and maintain onboarding materials and guidance, supporting different learning styles including self-paced and self-service options.

Engage effectively with customers and stakeholders to deliver consistent, high quality onboarding experiences and manage expectations.

Monitor performance, gather feedback and drive continuous improvement across onboarding and training services.
What you’ll bring:

Proven hands-on experience of delivering user training and developing training materials.

Experience of project management, including planning, risk and issue management, and delivering to time, cost and quality targets.

Strong team leadership and resource management experience, including setting objectives and managing performance.

Experience of delivering workshops, presentations and system demonstrations to a range of stakeholders.

Ability to gather, analyse and present data to inform decisions and improve services.

Security Cleared to at least SC level, or eligible for Security Clearance.
It would be great if you had:

Client or customer facing experience.

Experience working in a consulting environment with a focus on stakeholder engagement and management.

Experience in change management or supporting organisational transformation.

Experience of process mapping and analysis.
Location: Farnborough our preference is for two days a week onsite.
Security Clearance Level: Cleared to at least SC level, or eligible for Security Clearance.

Base salary: Up to £45,000, dependent on experience
