Job Overview:
Care One 2 One Ltd is looking for kind, reliable and compassionate Domiciliary Care / Support Workers to join our friendly team, supporting people to live safely, independently and with dignity in their own homes across Risca, Abercarn, Crosskeys, Pantside and Trinant.
What We Are Looking For:
· A caring, patient and respectful approach.
· Reliability, good timekeeping and the ability to work as part of a team.
· Good communication skills and confidence completing care records.
· Flexibility to work as part of a two-week rota in rotation, including mornings, evenings and alternate weekends.
· A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is preferred due to the community-based nature of the role.
· Previous care experience is welcome, but not essential as full training and support will be provided.
· Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to complete an enhanced DBS check. SPONSORSHIP IS NOT AVAILABLE
Rates of Pay:
Monday to Friday mornings: £13.00 per hour plus mileage. Monday to Thursday evenings: £13.45 per hour plus mileage. Saturday and Sunday mornings: £14.00 per hour plus mileage and Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings: £15.00 per hour plus mileage.
All we ask is you comit to two shifts a week minimum.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Supporting mobility and transferring clients safely
- Preparing nutritious meals
- Administering medication in accordance with prescribed instructions
- Providing companionship and emotional support to minimise feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Assisting with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Managing clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease
- Monitoring health status and reporting any concerns promptly
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and client progress
