Job description
Job title: Client Bookings Lead – Pet Cremation UK (Full Time, Remote)
- This is a fully remote position.
- This is a contractor role
- We are looking for a compassionate and confident Customer Enquiry Specialist to join Pet Cremation UK.
- As the first point of contact for pet owners, you will guide families through one of the most difficult moments of their lives with empathy, professionalism, and reassurance.
- You'll handle both inbound and outbound enquiries, helping customers understand their options, answer their questions, and arrange the service that best meets their needs.
- This role combines exceptional customer care with the aim of converting enquiries into confirmed bookings. Success comes from building trust, communicating with compassion, and confidently guiding customers through the decision-making process while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Available position
- Full-time role (Day Shift)
- Remote — work from home
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm
Key responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls from grieving pet owners with exceptional empathy and sensitivity
- Make outbound calls to customers who have requested a callback
- Guide customers through the cremation or euthanasia booking process with patience and understanding
- Provide clear information about our services, pricing, and timelines
- Maintain accurate customer records and booking details
- Offer emotional support while maintaining professional boundaries
- Coordinate with our operations team to ensure smooth collection
Essential requirements
- Exceptional verbal communication skills with a naturally calming phone manner
- High level of empathy and emotional intelligence
- Experience in customer service, preferably in sensitive or bereavement-related fields
- Ability to remain composed and supportive during emotional conversations
- Strong active listening skills and patience
- Experience working with CRM systems (Pipedrive or similar) and routing systems
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet home workspace
Desirable qualities
- Understanding of grief processes and bereavement support
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional telephone manner and articulate speaking voice
