Job Summary: Shift Leader
We’re looking for experienced and motivated childcare professionals in Bath! Childcare qualification desirable - or student in the childcare sector.
The shift leader will lead the team of play workers at breakfast and/or after school clubs. Ideally this candidate will work 2 or 3 shifts a week. You will help to plan and deliver exciting play opportunities for children aged 3 - 11, keeping children safe and engaged, whilst inspiring them to be the most totally awesome versions of themselves!
Location:
Various locations across Bath, inc:
Combe Down, Widcombe, Larkhall, Oldfield Park
Hours:
Breakfast clubs 7.15am - 9am
After school clubs 2.35pm / 2.50pm (depends on school timetable) - 6.05pm
There will also be opportunities to work in our holiday clubs and various events.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and delivering high-quality play opportunities.
- Manage resources and stock.
- Complete daily paperwork such as registers and risk assessments accurately.
- Participate in ongoing training.
- Communicate effectively with the team, parents, and school staff.
- Maintain knowledge of EYFS and government requirements.
- Liaise directly with your line manager.
Successful Candidates Must Demonstrate
- Excellent communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
