READ THIS BEFORE APPLYING
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A 9 TO 5 DESK JOB, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU.
This is a hands on nightlife role requiring genuine commitment, personal responsibility and flexibility.
Before applying, please make sure that:
- You can work every Saturday night
- You can commit to a minimum of 25 hours every week
- You can work additional hours during Freshers, launches, Halloween, New Year’s Eve and other major events
- You are comfortable with late finishes, evening meetings, daytime promotional activity and occasional early starts
- You understand that the busiest periods in nightlife are evenings, weekends and public holidays
- You are prepared to approach new people, generate leads, develop partnerships and actively sell events
- You are looking for meaningful responsibility rather than a casual nightlife job
- You can remain responsive and focused when campaigns become busy or plans change
There will be flexibility around certain weekday planning hours, but that flexibility must work both ways.
If you need a consistently predictable timetable or want a role that can be fitted casually around another full time job, this position is unlikely to be suitable.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who takes initiative and creates opportunities rather than waiting to be given a daily list of tasks.
You should be:
- Outgoing, sociable and confident approaching people you do not already know
- Comfortable turning conversations into bookings, partnerships and commercial opportunities
- Commercially minded and motivated by sales, targets and event growth
- Capable of building relationships with universities, societies, sports teams, language schools, accommodation providers, venues and group organisers
- Genuinely interested in nightlife, hospitality, music and live experiences
- Familiar with London’s nightlife market and ideally connected to student, international, hospitality or events communities
- Comfortable identifying and approaching relevant creators, influencers and event hosts
- Creative and aware of current nightlife, social media and consumer trends
- Organised, reliable and able to manage several priorities without losing focus
- Comfortable working independently without constant supervision
- Prepared to take responsibility for outcomes, not simply complete assigned tasks
- Confident managing representatives, promotional staff and event hosts
- Professional when communicating with venues, partners, suppliers and customers
- Comfortable working with busy nightlife crowds and handling challenging situations
- Calm under pressure and capable of making sensible decisions during live events
- Realistic about the late nights, weekend work and occasional inconvenient hours associated with the events industry
