Job Title: Deli Team Member
Location: Dunston Hall Estate, Chesterfield, Derbyshire. S41 9RL. UK
Job Type: Part-time 7 hours Sunday
About Us: Welcome to Dunston Hall Deli & Foodhall, an exciting venue near Chesterfield, dedicated to providing our community with delicious, high-quality, locally sourced products. We are committed to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our customers. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Deli Team Member to join our team and help make our deli a local favourite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of deli products, including meats, fish, cheeses, and preparing sandwiches.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the deli area, adhering to food safety and health and safety standards.
- Manage inventory, restock shelves, and monitor product freshness.
- Assist with daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries, process orders, and manage transactions at the till.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and smooth deli operations.
- Participate in promotional activities and special events to drive customer engagement.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a deli or similar food service environment is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (training provided if necessary).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Passion for food and a commitment to quality.
