We are looking for skilled and reliable Class 1 truck drivers to join our transport team in Milton Keynes.
Responsibilities
- Operate artic curtain-siders to transport goods to various locations in the UK as per delivery schedules.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Secure loads for transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation (PODs).
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.
- Occasional nights out/tramping.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Class 1 commercial delivery driver.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
