Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring guests enjoy their experience. Previous bar experience is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and time management. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages/food
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using ICR systems
- Ensure all drinks are served safely, adhering to food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations while maintaining excellent service standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and calculating bills
- Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining professionalism
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
