We are looking for a kind, reliable, and experienced care worker to support my wonderful mother in her own home in Brixton. Mum lives with Dementia with Lewy Bodies and is bed-bound. We are looking for someone who can provide dignified, high-quality care, helping her to feel safe, comfortable, and well-supported. Key Responsibilities: Personal Care: Full support with bathing, dressing, continence care, and skin integrity management (ensuring comfort while bed-bound). Medication: Prompting and administering daily medications accurately. Meal Preparation: Preparing nutritious meals and assisting/prompting with eating and drinking. Companionship: Providing a calm, reassuring presence. Understanding and responding gently to the cognitive fluctuations associated with Lewy Body Dementia. We need someone for 3 days a week (Monday Tuesday and Thursday) to work in partnership with another carer who will do Tuesday and Friday. Care is provided by the family at the weekends and on Bank Holidays.
