Duties
- Lead and supervise all restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and customer service to ensure smooth daily functioning
- Manage and motivate staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to build a cohesive team
- Oversee food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations across all kitchen and dining areas
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain high-quality food production and timely service
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to maximize profitability while maintaining quality
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure guests leave satisfied with their experience
- Implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency, cleanliness, and safety throughout the restaurant
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting with strong team management skills
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Familiarity with culinary processes including food production and kitchen operations
- Previous experience in hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is highly desirable
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations applicable to restaurants
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
