Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for maintaining cleanliness and organisation in various commercial environments. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring our premises are hygienic, welcoming, and professionally maintained. Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right applicant. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, washrooms, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed to ensure facilities are fully stocked at all times.
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly.
- Follow health and safety procedures to create a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly to facilitate timely repairs or remedial actions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to organisational protocols.
- Good organisational skills and reliability in completing assigned tasks efficiently.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties which may involve standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting light equipment or supplies.
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach towards maintaining a clean environment.
