Responsibilities
- Support residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming while maintaining dignity and respect
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times using proper techniques and equipment
- Follow individual care plans accurately to meet specific health and well-being needs
- Maintain clear communication with team members, clients, and their families to ensure consistent and effective care delivery
- Use IT systems to document care activities accurately and update records regularly
- Drive to appointments or outings as needed, ensuring timely transportation for clients requiring home care services
- Promote independence by encouraging participation in daily activities and social engagement
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
- Basic IT literacy to handle electronic care records and documentation efficiently
- Valid driving license is preferred to support transportation duties
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends as required
