Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and motivated Bricklayers to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, using bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and lay bricks, blocks, and stones with precision using hand tools and masonry techniques
- Mix mortar and ensure proper bonding between bricks or stones for stable construction
- Operate power tools such as drills, saws, and grinders safely and effectively to assist in construction tasks
- Collaborate with carpenters, roofers, and other tradespeople to coordinate project phases seamlessly
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing materials and disposing of debris responsibly
- Inspect completed work for quality control, ensuring adherence to safety standards and building codes
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bricklaying or masonry work with a strong understanding of construction principles
- Proficiency in using hand tools including trowels, chisels, levels, and hammers
- Familiarity with power tools used in masonry
- Physical stamina to perform demanding manual labor in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality standards
