Part-Time Market Stall Assistant
We are a small independent business selling handmade products at markets and events, and we are looking for a friendly, reliable and confident Part-Time Market Stall Assistant to join us.
The role is mainly based at weekend markets and events around Birmingham. As transporting stock and equipment is an important part of the role, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own car.
Main responsibilities:
- Driving to and from market and event locations Transporting stock and market equipment Helping set up the stall before the event opens Serving customers and processing payments Talking to customers about our handmade products Keeping the stall clean, tidy and well presented throughout the day Restocking products when required Packing down the stall and equipment at the end of the event
Requirements:
- UK driving licence Access to your own car – essential Reliable and punctual Friendly and confident when speaking with customers Comfortable working independently when required Available to work mainly at weekends Able to assist with setting up, packing down and transporting market equipment
Previous retail, market or customer service experience would be helpful, but is not essential. Full guidance will be provided.
