Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the rooms within nursery and in the communal areas, ensuring that all areas are tidy, organised, and presentable. This role requires a proactive individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to delivering high standards of cleanliness.
We are looking for someone to work 2 hours per evening between the hours of 6pm and 8pm. (We can be flexible with the times but 2 hours are required).
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, and communal areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure consistency in service delivery.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as required, including deep cleans or post-event clean-ups.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and their safe usage is an advantage.
