We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to helping individuals improve their mental health and overall well-being. As a Therapist, you will provide support through various therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop personalised treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with professional standards and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, coping strategies, and available resources.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in therapy.
Requirements
- A relevant degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field is essential.
- Registration with a recognised professional body (e.g., HCPC, BACP) is required.
- Previous experience in a therapeutic setting is mandatory .
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathise and connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effective documentation and client interaction.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines in practice.
