Summary
'Join Everyone Active as a Team Leader in to help us promote health and well-being through community engagement. Based at our local centre, you will play a vital role in leading our team to deliver exceptional services and activities that inspire active lifestyles.'
Responsibilities
' Lead and motivate a team to deliver excellent customer service and manage daily operations.
- Coordinate activities and programs that promote physical activity and community participation.
- Ensure health and safety standards are maintained across all activities.
- Support staff development through coaching and supervision.
- Manage administrative tasks including scheduling, reporting, and stock control.
- Foster positive relationships with local authorities and community partners.
- Monitor performance metrics to achieve service excellence.
- Promote a welcoming environment that encourages participation for all ages.'
- Step up as the Duty Manager when required
- Qualifications required; National pool Lifeguard Qualification
- Qualification preferred; Pool Plant Operators Certificate
' Proven management or supervisory experience within a leisure, sports, or community centre setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative environment.
- Experience in customer service or retail management is advantageous.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to leisure facilities.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are considered an asset but are not essential.
Stevenage Leisure Centre is currently under construction, the successful candidate will be transferred to the new Centre when it is ready.
