Experienced Field Care Supervisor – Domiciliary Care
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Field Care Supervisor to join our domiciliary care team at Palm2Palm. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our care staff in the community, ensuring high standards of care are delivered to service users and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
This is a field-based role requiring regular travel within the community to conduct assessments, spot checks, supervisions, and quality assurance visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct service user assessments, reviews, and risk assessments.
- Carry out regular spot checks, observations, and competency assessments of care staff in the community.
- Undertake staff supervisions, probation reviews, and annual appraisals.
- Ensure care plans are accurate, up to date, and reflect the individual needs of service users.
- Monitor the quality of care being delivered and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Investigate concerns, incidents, complaints, and safeguarding matters in line with company procedures.
- Provide support, guidance, and mentoring to care staff.
- Work closely with the Care Manager and Compliance Team to maintain high standards of care and compliance.
- Assist with onboarding and field-based induction of new care workers.
- Maintain accurate records and complete reports following visits and audits.
- Build positive relationships with service users, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
- Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota, shared with other office staff, providing support and guidance to care workers and responding to operational issues as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Field Care Supervisor, Senior Care Worker, Care Coordinator, or similar role within domiciliary care.
- Good understanding of CQC standards, safeguarding, and person-centred care.
- Experience conducting assessments, spot checks, and staff supervision.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or working towards).
- Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Flexibility to travel throughout the service area.
- Willingness to participate in a shared on-call rota with other office staff.
- Right to work in the UK.

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
