Part-Time Cleaner
Irlam Steel Recreation & Social Club is looking for a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Cleaner to join our team.
The Role
We are looking for someone to help keep the club’s facilities clean, tidy and welcoming for our members, visitors and guests.
Hours: 10 hours per week
Working days: Monday–Sunday, to be agreed
Working hours: Early morning shifts, before the club opens to members
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the club is clean and ready for opening each day.
Duties will include:
- Cleaning and maintaining toilets and washroom facilities
- Cleaning floors, surfaces and communal areas
- Emptying bins and general waste
- Cleaning and maintaining the bar and members’ areas
- Cleaning function and social areas
- Cleaning kitchen/food preparation areas where required
- Ensuring the club is clean, tidy and ready to open
- Reporting any cleaning or maintenance issues to the appropriate person
We are looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, trustworthy and punctual
- Takes pride in their work
- Has good attention to detail
- Is able to work independently
- Is comfortable working early morning shifts
- Can be flexible with working days
- Previous cleaning experience would be an advantage, but is not essential
This is a 10-hour-per-week part-time position, with shifts scheduled before the club opens.
