Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair equipment or machinery at customer sites
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to minimise downtime
Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance
Provide clear and professional support to customers, ensuring high satisfaction
Complete service reports, documentation, and updates in line with company procedures
Train end users on basic equipment operation and maintenance
Liaise with internal teams (e.g. technical support, parts, and scheduling) to ensure efficient service delivery
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards on-site
Travel to various customer locations as required, sometimes at short notice
Skills and Experience
Skills:
Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
Good communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Customer-focused with a professional attitude
Competent in reading technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
Basic IT skills for reporting and system updates
Flexibility to travel and adapt to varying work environment
Experience:
Previous experience in a Field Service, Maintenance, or Engineering role
Hands-on experience with installing, maintaining, or repairing technical equipment or machinery
Familiarity with health and safety procedures and working on customer sites
Experience in customer-facing roles is advantageous
A full, clean driving licence is often required
