About the role
We’re a family-run food business looking for a reliable part-time delivery driver to join our team. You’ll be making daily multidrop deliveries to our trade customers – chicken shops, takeaways and restaurants – in and around South Wales, driving one of our Transit vans.
The hours are ideal for someone looking for regular daytime work that fits around family or other commitments. The route covers 1 area per day - starting around 11:00am covering around 3-4 hours work.
What you’ll be doing
- Loading your van and making deliveries to a route of trade customers
- Handling chilled food product safely and following food-hygiene basics (full training given)
- Being the friendly face of the business to our customers
- Keeping your van clean and ready for the next day
What we’re looking for
- A full UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points)
- Reliable and punctual – our customers depend on their deliveries arriving
- Physically able to load and unload (the work involves lifting)
- A positive, can-do attitude and good with people
- Eligible to work in the UK
Pay: £12.71-£13.45 per hour
