Salon Manager / Senior Stylist / Full-Time Employed Position
We’re looking for an experienced, friendly and passionate Salon Manager / Senior Stylist to join our lovely team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced stylist who enjoys being behind the chair but is also ready to take on a little more responsibility and become an important part of the day-to-day running of the salon.
We’re a busy, established and friendly salon with a wonderful team, and we’re looking for someone who shares our passion for great hair, exceptional client care and creating a happy, supportive place to work.
About the Role
Alongside managing your own client column, you’ll help oversee the salon floor and support the team throughout the day.
We’re looking for someone who is naturally organised, confident and able to use their own initiative — someone who can see what needs doing, make sensible decisions and help everything run smoothly.
Your role will include:
- Providing cutting, colouring and styling services to our clients
- Helping oversee the day-to-day running of the salon floor
- Supporting and encouraging members of the team
- Offering guidance to apprentices and developing stylists
- Helping maintain our high standards of client care
- Ensuring the salon remains organised, professional and welcoming
- Supporting the team during busy periods
- Confidently handling everyday client or team queries
- Leading by example and helping maintain a positive working environment
- Taking responsibility for the salon floor when the salon owner isn’t present
About You
We’d love to meet someone who is:
- An experienced and confident qualified stylist
- Ideally has 5+ years’ experience
- Confident in cutting, colouring and styling
- Friendly, warm and approachable
- Professional and reliable
- Naturally organised and able to use their initiative
- A confident communicator
- Calm and solution-focused
- Supportive of other team members
- Passionate about delivering an excellent client experience
- Ready to take the next step in their hairdressing career
Previous management or leadership experience would be welcomed, but it isn’t essential. We’d also love to hear from experienced Senior Stylists who feel ready to progress into a leadership role.
