Part time / full time. There will be a requirement for periodic evening and Saturday sessions.
Salary dependant on experience.
The practice is located a 20 minute drive from the centre of Chester or an 8 minute train journey from Chester train station to our nearest station (an 8 minutes walk from the practice)! There is free, on site parking for staff, we have a team member of the month award, team building events and several practice social events in the calendar year, including evenings out.
We provide free online CPD platform access for ease of completion of CPD.
Duties include:
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients at the reception desk. Responsibilities include: greeting and checking in patients, efficiently scheduling and managing patient bookings to maintain and effective diary, handling queries with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining patient records and ensuring an overall organised and welcoming environment
- Promptly and accurately respond to in person, phone and email inquiries
- Actively liaise with clinicians and key stakeholders (for example, the Local Health Board) to maintain positive relationships and streamlined operations
- Receive and process patient payments, maintaining accurate records of transactions
- Maintain organisational effectiveness by dealing and being able to effectively prioritise multiple tasks at hand
- Manage, maintain, and affirm the confidentiality and integrity of complex data sets
- Actively collaborate as part of a team to meet collective operational goals
- Tracking and management of key performance indicators
Essential
- Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in dealing with individuals at various levels, both internally and externally
- Proven ability to manage and maintain large data sets effectively with strict adherence to relevant data protection legislation
- Enthusiastic with an appetite to learn and develop new skills
- Be flexible, reliable and work well within a team
- Caring personality with excellent communication skills and customer service
Desirable
- Previous role involving data protection management
- Dental nursing experience
- Treatment co-ordinator experience
