Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility needs.
- Support the implementation and review of individual care plans to meet each resident’s unique requirements.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with residents, their families, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Assist with medication administration following proper protocols and documentation procedures.
- Use IT systems to update records accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with care standards.
- Support residents’ social activities and encourage engagement to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Contribute to a safe environment by adhering to health and safety policies and reporting any concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with residents and team members.
- Basic IT literacy for documentation and record keeping purposes.
- Valid driving license is preferred to support transportation needs or community outings.
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
- A caring attitude with excellent interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with residents.

Pay: £13.20 per hour
