Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician to join our dynamic team. Experience of Installing Solar PV is desired but not essential. Vehicle provided. Immediate start available.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Ensure all work complies with all safety standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects on time and within scope.
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies or system failures to minimize downtime.
- Assist in upgrading existing electrical systems to improve efficiency and safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with electrical systems in domestic or commercial environment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools like drills and saws.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
- valid uk drivers license
- NVQ level 3 electrical qualification
- 2391 Testing and inspection or equivalent
