Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bench Joiner/Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic woodworking team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality cabinetry, furniture, and custom woodwork through precise fabrication and assembly. Your expertise in joinery techniques, use of hand and power tools, and attention to detail will ensure each project meets our standards of excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to bespoke projects, working in a fast-paced environment that values craftsmanship and innovation.
Mainly working with sheet material and utilising the Cnc for the majority of machining, we require the human touch for things a computer just can’t do!
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and finish wood components to produce custom cabinets, furniture, and fixtures according to specifications
- Utilize power tools including drills, routers, sanders, and saws for efficient fabrication and assembly
- Follow detailed drawings and technical plans to ensure accurate production of woodwork pieces
- Conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication, joinery, carpentry or cabinet making with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or bulky materials
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, measurements, and woodworking techniques
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Clean driving licence and experience with a van.
- Ideally some experience in fitting furniture

Pay: £120.00-£140.00 per day
