Summary
Due to continued company growth we require a HGV Fitter to work alongside our night maintenance team based at our Leyland site. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repairs, inspections, servicing and repairs for our fleet of vehicles, to ensure they are safe, roadworthy, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Carry out routine maintenance and servicing on HGVs and trailers, and light commercial vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults, using diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Perform vehicle inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with roadworthiness standards.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3 years experience in a similar role which combines technical knowledge, team management, and compliance responsibilities with a hands on approach
- Ability to use diagnostic software and tools.
- Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
- NVQ Level 2 qualification preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- HGV 2 Licence desirable but not essential
- Over 25 years old for insurance purposes
