Job Overview:
As a Junior/Mid-Level Data Analyst, you will work closely with our senior analysts and business teams to collect, process, and analyze data to support decision-making. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for data, strong analytical thinking, and a desire to grow in a dynamic IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Processing:
- Gather, clean, and organize data from various sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets)
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity for reporting and analysis
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Create reports and visualizations (dashboards, charts) using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
- Assist in generating business insights to support decision-making
Database & Querying:
- Write basic SQL queries to extract and manipulate data
- Assist in maintaining and optimizing databases
Collaboration & Support:
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs
- Present findings in a clear, concise manner to stakeholders
Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated on data analysis tools, techniques, and industry trends
- Support senior analysts in advanced analytics projects
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of professional experience in data analysis, IT, or a related field (fresh graduates with strong academic or internship projects welcome to apply)
- Technical Skills:
- Exposure to the financial domain is a plus, not required
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data querying
- Familiarity with Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
- Basic understanding of Python or R (optional but beneficial)
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Communication: Ability to explain data insights clearly
- Eagerness to Learn: Willingness to grow in a fast-paced IT environment
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus):
- Internship or academic projects involving data analysis
- Familiarity with statistical concepts
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or big data tools
