Job Summary
Reports to: Marketing Manager
Supporting the Marketing Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering marketing activity across Ludlow Farmshop, Ludlow Kitchen, Ludlow Giftshop, Ludlow Pantry and The Clive Arms. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same, giving you the opportunity to work across online marketing, graphic design, email marketing and print.
You'll be responsible for creating engaging content; from designing eye-catching marketing materials to writing website copy, blogs and email campaigns. You'll have a creative flair, a strong eye for detail and confidence capturing photography and videography, producing high-quality content that supports wider marketing campaigns.
You'll also help coordinate events, maintain brand consistency across all customer touchpoints, support professional photoshoots and filming, and ensure marketing materials and signage are always up to date.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and have excellent communication skills. You'll be passionate about marketing, eager to bring fresh ideas to the team and committed to delivering engaging campaigns that inspire customers to visit us.
Essential experience in: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Mailchimp and Canva
Preferred experience in: WordPress
Specific responsibilities within the role (but not limited to):
Online Marketing
· Create and send email marketing campaigns to our customer database, including monthly newsletters featuring engaging, on-brand content to drive customer footfall, promote loyalty and support wider marketing campaigns. Ensure all email marketing follows GDPR requirements and incorporates best practice and learnings from previous campaigns.
· Write engaging monthly blogs and share interesting business news and event updates on our websites.
· Create compelling website copy to promote events, ensuring the events calendar is kept up to date and working with local businesses to maximise reach.
· Create and maintain campaign pages and new project pages across the business websites.
Literature, Signage and POS
· Design and produce printed marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, point-of-sale material and on-site signage.
· Manage site signage plans and provide designs to Marketing Manager in a timely manner for print.
· Coordinate and manage menu updates for all onsite hospitality businesses and special events, ensuring artwork is produced accurately.
Events
· Market events and assist teams with event set up – attendance may be required.
Marketing
· Assist in the implementation of successful marketing campaigns.
· Support the Marketing Manager with professional photoshoots and professional filming days.
· Support the preparation and submission of award entries.
· Provide administrative support to the marketing department.
Pay: £12.91-£13.54 per hour
