Duties
Collaborate with clients to understand their desired tattoo designs, offering expert advice and suggestions to enhance their ideas
- Prepare skin for tattooing by cleaning, shaving, and applying stencil outlines with precision
- Operate tattoo equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety protocols are maintained at all times
- Execute tattoo procedures with attention to detail, artistry, and consistency to deliver high-quality results
- Manage appointment scheduling, including walk-ins and follow-up sessions, ensuring a smooth flow of clients throughout the day
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with health regulations and studio standards
- Engage with clients post-procedure for aftercare instructions and follow-up consultations to ensure satisfaction and healing
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a professional tattoo artist with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse styles and techniques
- Certification or licensing as required by local health authorities or regulatory bodies
- Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and explain procedures clearly
- Strong management skills to handle appointments, studio operations, and client relationships effectively
- Ability to manage social media accounts for studio promotion and showcase your work to attract new clients
- Customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanor that fosters trust and loyalty
- Hospitality-minded attitude with the ability to upsell services or retail products confidently while prioritizing client satisfaction
