Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Business Support Administrator to join a well-established residential care home. This role is key to supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the service, providing administrative and business support to management and staff while ensuring high standards of organisation, confidentiality, and professionalism.
This is a Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm office-based role, offering regular daytime hours in a supportive and professional care environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, confidence using office systems, and the ability to work effectively in a care-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing correspondence including emails, telephone calls, and post in a professional and courteous manner.
- Supporting management with scheduling, meetings, rotas, and general office administration.
- Maintaining accurate records through data entry and organised filing systems.
- Preparing documents and reports using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Assisting with invoicing, billing, petty cash, and expense tracking.
- Supporting payroll and timesheet administration where required.
- Carrying out general office duties such as scanning, photocopying, and ordering supplies.
- Assisting with HR administration, including onboarding, staff records, and training documentation.
- Liaising with external professionals, suppliers, and service partners.
- Ensuring administrative processes comply with internal policies, confidentiality, and regulatory standards relevant to a care setting.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative or business support role.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Experience with accounting, payroll, or care management systems is desirable.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and telephone skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of confidentiality and data protection, particularly within a care or health-related setting.
