Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Holiday Home Cleaner to prepare and maintain our properties between guest stays. You will play a key role in ensuring every guest arrives to a spotless, welcoming home, directly contributing to positive reviews and repeat bookings.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and prepare holiday properties between guest checkouts and check-ins, working to tight turnaround schedules
- Clean all rooms to a high standard, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas
- Change and replace bed linen, towels, and guest supplies
- Report any damage, maintenance issues, or missing items to the property manager
- Restock consumables such as toiletries, cleaning products, and kitchen essentials
- Conduct a final walkthrough to ensure the property meets presentation standards before guest arrival
- Follow property-specific checklists and cleaning protocols
- Occasionally assist with laundry, ironing, and linen management
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a holiday let, hotel, or hospitality setting
- Strong attention to detail and high personal standards
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Flexible availability, including weekends and bank holidays
- Reliable transport, as properties may be in rural or dispersed locations
- Good communication skills for reporting issues promptly
- Physically able to carry out cleaning duties, including lifting and repetitive tasks
