M365 Migration Engineer — CloudyIT
CloudyIT is a UK Microsoft partner specialising in the Modern Workplace. We support around 500 clients — primarily town and parish councils, alongside non-profits and SMEs — helping them move to and get the most from Microsoft 365. You'll join a dynamic, fast-growing team where your work has a direct and visible impact on our customers.
We're looking for an experienced engineer to own Microsoft 365 migration projects end to end — scoping, planning, execution, cutover and handover. Most projects are small migrations of 10–20 users, with a steady mix of larger projects where you'll lead with support from our wider engineering team.
What you'll be doing
- Managing M365 migration projects end to end, from scoping through to post-migration support
- Migrating email (Exchange Online), files (SharePoint and OneDrive), identities (Entra ID) and devices (Intune) from a range of source environments
- Configuring and managing tenants to our standards — security baselines, licensing, device enrolment
- Working with our toolset, including Datto and Kaseya RMM tools and Apple Business Manager
- Communicating clearly with customers before, during and after migrations — many have no in-house IT
- Occasional visits to customer offices; most work is delivered from our Buckingham office or remotely
What we're looking for
- At least 5 years' hands-on Microsoft experience, including Microsoft 365 administration and migrations
- Proven experience running migration projects end to end
- MS-102 Microsoft 365 Administrator certification, or equivalent demonstrable experience (MS-900, MD-102, SC-300 a bonus)
- Comfortable working directly with non-technical customers
- A full, clean UK driving licence
Pay and benefits
- £35,000+ per annum, depending on experience — we're open to going higher for strong candidates
- NEST workplace pension and a range of staff benefits
- Buckingham office with flexible remote working
- Immediate start available
