LOOKING FOR TWO PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT TO FUFILL A 24 HOUR WEEKLY CONTRACT (NIGHTSHIFT)

WEEK 1: SUNDAY AND TUESDAY
WEEK 2: FRIDAY AND SATURDAY
10PM TO 10AM
12 HOUR SHIFTS
The individual is looking to expand his current personal health care team to fulfill 24 hour care requirements, based in Callander, Stirlingshire.
What the client is looking for:
Someone with a patient, caring nature with a positive and proactive mentality to your work. Someone willing to learn and to work to a high standard, and be able to commit to the agreed shift pattern(s). Someone also able to commit to overtime in order to cover holidays and sickness.
Role Description:
This is a permanent role for a Personal Care Assistant, in which you will be required to fully assist with all aspects of daily living, including but not limited to:
This role is a partial sleepover, after care is carried out
Assisting to bathroom
Showering
Personal care
Dressing
Assisting to bed
Assisting with ventilation
Using tracking hoist for transfers.
Assisting with exercises.
Basic cleaning: Wiping down surfaces, bathroom, and hoovering.
The employer may require you to carry out other reasonable duties as required.
Qualifications
You must have at least two years experience in care/caring environments.
Experience with personal care and activities of daily living.
You must be able to pass a PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) check.
SVQ2 qualification is preferred though not essential.
A valid UK driving license.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
Job Type: Part-time
